Operation Rebound Nordic Challenge


Telemark, free heel skiers, split boarders, cross country and back country skiers. Bring your climbing skins and strong legs to raise donations for Operation Rebound winter sports athletes.


Take the 5th Annual Operation Rebound SHORT Course Nordic Challenge by climbing up to Grandview over the 5 mile course, then down to the ski school bell at the base. NEW this year: the Operation Rebound Nordic Challenge LONG Course starts at the Ski School bell up Easy Rider, then up to top of West Bowl by way of Escape, then back down to the ski school bell. NO LIFTS. There is a $200 prize for fastest time on the long course and $100 for the short course fastest time. Receive a free lift ticket with an online tax deductible donation of $50 for all participants.


Sat March 21 early load at 0730 up to Nob where short course race will start at 0745. Then down the Ally and up the Backside, then down to base. any way you want. Long Course will start at 0700 and finish at the ski school bell.


Able bodied skiers and snowboarders helping fund winter competition for Operation Rebound Veterans and First Responders. This year, USA Paralympic Athletes seeking to fulfill the motto of Operation Rebound ”Go from the “Front line to the Finish line”.


Day of registration in the Solsitice on Sat at 0630 until 0715. Online registration preferred by making a $50 tax deductible donation. Email proof of donation and inquiries to event organizer Jim Cahill at jimcskiguy@gmail.com.

Cash prizes will be awarded to the 3 fastest competitors. It will be based on 10% of total donations raised by racers and other donations. Participants meet at 0730 at the Ski School bell with a donation and a lift ride to the top of Nob Chair. Race begins from there at 0745 sharp.
